I moved to Idaho Falls

Life has been a little bumpy as of late. I spend most of my time visiting doctors trying to figure out what is causing my symptoms. I've been experiencing fatigue along with a wide-spread muscle pain for a few years but lately it's really taken over my life. Is it a virus? Is it something I'll have for life? Who knows.

In June my doctor put me out on a leave of absense. After three months I wasn't any better, just super medicated. I literally slept for six weeks straight. What an experience! It was a tough decision to leave behind my new AZ friends and a great job but I felt it was time to do something about my poor quality of life. I'm now living with my parents in Idaho Falls. Just when they thought the nest was almost empty...I know they love having me here. ;0) The change has come with many blessing already. The Lord has been mindful of me during this time in my life and I'm so grateful. I'm very hopeful that new doctors will have some ideas on how to get me better.

I joined a water exercise program last week that I'm enjoying. For those of you who haven't lived in Idaho it's breath-takingly chilly when the wind blows. Warming up the car and scraping the windows is the hard part. Once I get to class I'm surrounded with cheery senior citizens who are there to relieve their aches and pains too. My new found friends have been cheering me on. After the workout we sit in the hot tub and that almost makes up for having to warm up the car in the early morning hours. Talk about an opportunity to use all your will powers, positive thinking and self-talk methods...burr.

Lately Laie has been kinda Chilly when the temp drops into the 60s I put on my sweatshirt. Idaho Falls must feel super cold. I hope you enjoy your water class.

Glad to hear you are taking a swim/aerobics class! I think that would be so fun. Every time I go to the gym I see all the older people in the pool taking their aerobics class and I always wanted to go and join them because it looked fun - but never had the courage. So I'm jealous. Hehe.

Thanks for advertising my concert on your page. I hope I am feeling better for the concert - I've been pretty sick lately. Blah.

You just mixed my two favorite things. No, not water aerobics and scraping the ice off the car windshield, but sitting in the hot tub while being outside in the cold air. That's the best! I'm excited to see you this weekend.

Congrats on your new blog! I'm thrilled that you shared it with me :) - I love the name/story and the photo topper is breathtaking! Your class sounds like so much fun, but you are braver than me! I've been in warm AZ way too long haha. We sure miss you down here!

Do you think you and the parents could make room for Dalynn & I and the girls? Sounds like we're missing out on all parties you guys throw over there. We're excited to come back for Christmas time.

I don't know if you're open to alternative health care... (homeopathy, naturopathy, etc.) if you are I'll share my personal experiences with it.

So, I'm just learning how to add comments and since it's New Years Eve, I'll say, "Happy New Years". I'm glad you're out and about with friends tonight. :-)

I loved sitting up the other night with you and talking. I've missed those times. I love talking with you! I hope you have a great day.
Thanks for hanging in there. It will be worth it.

I liked your new blog but I didn't know how to add comments for it so I came back to this one. You can show me later what I did wrong.
Anyway, thanks for expressing your thoughts. I was glad to read them and then to read your siblings comments. Lately, I've been thinking back on your Patriarchal Blessing and remembering what the Patriarch said about a time in your life. I didn't like listeniing to him refer to it in your blessing and I don't like that it has come to your life. But, I do know that for some reason this is part of the Lord's plan for you. Liking or not liking it isn't going to change it. It's going to be. But it is a time in your life, not your life.
This too shall pass. Being positive isn't necessarily being blind to the facts or losing perceptive, however it does make a rough journey a little smoother. May your journey smooth out soon because I love you with all my heart and hurt when you hurt.
